Angelo Mejia

I’m 31 years old, currently living in Washington, D.C., but originally from the Philippines. I’ve also lived in Germany and throughout the United States. Travel has always been a huge part of my life. I’ve been to 17 countries and 40 out of 50 U.S. states, and I’m always chasing the next adventure. Whether I’m exploring a new city, hiking a trail, or jumping on a spontaneous trip, I love capturing those real-life moments through photography.

Photography, for me, isn’t just about the perfect shot. It’s about storytelling, emotion, and noticing the small details that often go unseen. I shoot a wide range of styles including portraits, events, sports, travel, and lifestyle. I enjoy adapting my approach depending on where I am and who I’m working with.

Outside of the camera, I’m an active and outgoing person. I love going to the gym, hiking outdoors, and catching concerts, sporting events, or comedy shows whenever I can. I like staying busy, creative, and connected to the world around me.

I earned my BFA in Graphic Design from Pacific Lutheran University, then completed a master’s in Integrated Marketing Communications at West Virginia University. I’m currently pursuing my second master’s at Georgetown University in Public Relations and Corporate Communications. This path combines my love for visual storytelling with strategy and purpose.
